Great Stirrup CayGreat Stirrup Cay is a small island in the Bahamas owned by Norwegian Cruise Line (NCL). It is often used as a stopover for Caribbean cruises from Florida. It is part of the Berry Islands. The island was purchased by NCL from the Belcher Oil Company and turned into a private island for cruise ship passengers. Ships anchor off shore, and visitors are transferred by tender to the island to enjoy the beaches, facilities, and water activities provided. The climate on Great Stirrup Cay is tropical. From December to April, the average daytime temperature is around 75 °F, but from May to November, the average daily temperature is between 85 °F and 93 °F.
