Jamaica

Ocho RiosThe island nation of Jamaica is considered as being the heart of the Caribbean. A cruise to Jamaica is one of the most popular options for a fantasy vacation. With its magnificent surroundings and daring attitude, Jamaica is more than just a tropical paradise. Reggae music, the Rastafari movement, and all-inclusive resorts all originated in Jamaica. But visitors can also learn about the island’s pirate history and British colonial past while sampling rum and exploring the island’s rivers, waterfalls, and jungles. From trekking to lazing on a white-sand beach, Jamaica has something for everyone.

Because of its five popular ports, Jamaica is a popular port of call for many cruise lines. Cruise ships dock in Montego Bay on the island’s north side, where you’ll have access to the island’s most stunning white-sand beaches. Alternatively, a ship can dock in Ocho Rios, which is known for its many beautiful sights, including the famous Dunn’s River waterfall. Falmouth, which is also equipped to handle the largest cruise ships, is located between the towns of Ocho Rios and Montego Bay and has buses, minibuses, and route taxis available to take guests to the many natural wonders and beaches around. In the island’s east, lush, rain-fed Port Antonio and a number of communities to the east serve as portals to some of the county’s most spectacular natural wonders. There is also a dock in the south in Port Royal, a former pirate colony about an hour’s drive from Kingston, the capital city.

Port order and/or content may vary, please check specific sailing date for details at official cruise line website. Port arrival and departure times are approximate and subject to change without notice. For more information please visit the official cruise line website.
