The Donkey Sanctuary Aruba is a nonprofit organization devoted to saving the island’s donkeys and educating locals and tourists on their care. Donkeys used to be the main form of transportation on the island.
Carnival is Aruba’s biggest and most famous event and features weeks of events and celebrations. Spectacular parades dominate the streets with colorful decorated floats, catchy lyrics and rhythms and lots of celebrants adorned in luxurious and vibrant costumes.
