July

July is the start of the Caribbean’s low season, with scorching temperatures and wet spells making this one of the least popular times of year for cruises out of Florida. Expect a few tropical thunderstorms if you travel on a cruise in the Caribbean this time of year, especially in the afternoons.

What to expect from the weather on the July cruise?

The Caribbean weather in July is similar to that of June, with typical high temperatures ranging from 86 to 90 degrees F. During July, ocean water temperatures in the Caribbean Sea range from 81 to 82 degrees Fahrenheit. In July, expect short, heavy tropical showers followed by bright skies. Although it is now officially hurricane season, the risk is low, and while you may encounter some tropical storms, this can still be a good time to cruise from Florida.
