Montego Bay

Located on the northern coast of Jamaica, Montego Bay (MoBay) is the capital of Saint James Parish and a major cruise ship port known for its abundance of beach resorts and golf courses outside its commercial core. Montego Bay is a common stop for cruises throughout the Caribbean, especially those that embark from Florida. You can shop, swim, and learn about Jamaica’s rich culture on excursions through the island’s stunning countryside while on a cruise to Montego Bay. The cruise ship port has a number of amenities, including a telephone center, a snack bar, and a number of duty-free stores. A 10-minute drive will take you to the lively Hip Strip, which is lined with brick-and-mortar stores and sandy beaches. Doctor’s Cave Beach is regarded as one of the best on the island due to its well-kept shore and clear seas. With such beauty and history bunched together, one of the great challenges of putting in Montego Bay is not being mesmerized by the surrounding scenery.
